Physiotherapy

Simon Janik has been working as a physiotherapist for almost a decade after graduating from Western University with a Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2014. He has experience working with people of all ages, having worked in a variety of settings. Having previously worked at private orthopaedic clinics, OHIP funded clinics and providing physiotherapy and strength and conditioning for professional athletes, NCAA athletes and weekend warriors, Simon brings a wealth of knowledge and experience across a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions. He has completed his diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy with the orthopaedic division and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists (FCAMPT). He has also taken additional courses in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation, acupuncture, vestibular rehab, and concussion management. Simon implements a unique style of manual therapy with joint mobilizations/manipulations, rehabilitative exercises, neural and myofascial mobilizations to help clients recover from their injuries. He has a special interest in working with athletes, particularly tennis players, having been a half decent one himself at one point in his life.

In his spare time, Simon enjoys staying active by golfing, playing tennis, running, and spending time with his wife and two boys.
